On Friday, December 19th, Standard & Poor's announced that it was revising its outlook on ACE Limited and ACE's core operating companies to positive from stable. S&P also reaffirmed all of ACE's counterparty credit and financial strength ratings, including its A+ Financial Strength rating for the core operating companies.
